This is an original piece of a rabbit drawn using a graduation of oil brush sizes, using smaller brushes for the face to retain detail and getting larger toward the back of the rabbit. From a distance this gives the illusion of a shallow depth of field while simultaneously retaining sharp brush strokes throughout.
